Our story began in 2015 during senior week in Ocean City, Maryland, on the boardwalk at 11th Street. Bryanna was sitting on a bench with a group of friends who were jokingly calling random people over. That is when Rigo walked up and told Bryanna she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen and asked for her number. She turned him down… twice.

Truthfully, Bryanna would have given him her number, but at the time she was still grounded by her parents and hadn’t gotten her phone back yet.

Not ready to give up, Rigo came back a little while later and tried one more time. Instead of asking for her number again, he asked if he could take a photo with her. Bryanna agreed, and after that they didn’t see each other for the rest of the week.

On the very last day of senior week, Bryanna and her friends stopped at a gas station before heading home. While they were there, Bryanna happened to look over and noticed Rigo. He pulled up the photo on his phone and asked, “Is this you?” When she said yes, he excitedly replied that it must be fate and asked for her number again. Bryanna still wasn’t able to give it to him, but she did give him her social media instead.

They later discovered that Rigo lived in Frederick and Bryanna lived in Hagerstown, so they decided to stay in touch and remain friends.

Years later, in 2024, their friendship finally turned into something more and they officially started dating. Since then, they have built a life together, living together and raising their German Shepherd, Tyson, and their Siamese cat, Leo.

On October 25, 2025, Rigo proposed to Bryanna on the rooftop at La Vie. After the proposal, Rigo had secretly arranged for immediate family and close friends to gather for what they believed was a surprise birthday dinner for Bryanna. In reality, the dinner was planned so Bryanna and Rigo could surprise everyone with the news of their engagement.

From a simple photo on the Ocean City Boardwalk to the start of their forever, their story has grown into a love they cannot wait to continue building together.
